You need a permit to live in Denmark
Turkey is not in the EU, so living and working in Denmark needs a residence and work permit; you apply to SIRI (the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration). Short visits need a Schengen visa.
Which route fits you: New to Denmark, Denmark's official immigration site. We don't give visa advice.
Your checklist in Turkey
- Your permit approved and a valid passport.
- Documents in one folder: birth and marriage certificates, diplomas; apostilles and sworn translations.
- Money for the start: a deposit (at most 3 months' rent; up to 3 months of rent in advance may be asked too), the first rent and a few weeks of living costs.
- Danish: there are Danish courses for registered adults; English is widely spoken too.
- Set up your home TV before you go, so it works on day one (how to watch Turkish TV in Denmark).
